Ginger Biscuits
7 yolks
140 g powder sugar
40 g of butter
140 g smooth flour
70 g ground ginger (fresh)
1 tee spoon of soda
Yolks together with butter on sugar will mix to foam.
Add ginger riddled with flour and soda. We mit it to smooth dough. Roll doun on floured desk with thickness 1 cm. Cut shapes, wich we get on the backing sheet covered with paper.
We leave it with yolks.
We back it in before heated oven near 200°C cca 10-12 minutes.
Halusas with smoked meat
1000 g potatos
400 g thick flour
150 g cooked smoked meat
1 egg
1 spoon of salt
1 mokka coffee spoon of ground black pepper
1 mokka coffee spoon of marjoran
1 big onion
2 cloves of garbic
3 twigs of parsley
We clean the potatoes, wash them, smoothly peel, and get rid of water. Put them into a pot, add flour, small pieces of meat or minced meat, egg salt, pepper, marjoran, garlik, parsley and smal pieces of fried onion.
We stir the mixture and keep it for 10 minutes to rest. We put the haluskas from the dough (with tea spoon) into boiling salty water and cook them for 5 minutes at moderate temperature. When it is cooked we drain. We can serve with stewed saurkraut.
Lentil with dried plums
150 g lentils
100 g dried plums
1 tea spoon of salt
2 soup spoon of butter
1 soup spoon of smooth flou
Plums and lentils separetly into the water till next day. The next day we pour out the water from lentils and we spill the lentils on the plums. We add water till it´s 2 cm over the plums with lentils. Cook it for 20 minutes, the par into the medium boiling water withe lentils broowned flour made out from butter and flour.
We mix it, still on medium fire, and let boil for next 5 minutes. After this we put it of, we add some salt and leave it covered until serving.
